In no particular order...
- Finally got pregnant...by accident, no less!
- Moved to Austin and out of blue-haired, conservative Georgetown
- Visited Washington, D.C.
- Got a new car
- Found out I was having boy/girl twins
- Re-connected with some long lost friends
- Happy, stable marriage
- Finally had my own private backyard pool for nightly summertime swims
- Dems took back control of Congress. (Not sure if that qualifies as something that happened to me, but it still brought me a lot of joy!)
- Maintained good health for myself and my babies
